Product Development: Twice the Product in Half the Time
You need a better framework to develop products. We have the training to teach you how to do it.

Register for the class that will improve your product development.
It takes too long to get your product to market. If this is your reality, then we have a training class that will improve your work and change your world.
We are successfully applying a framework to product development that will deliver twice the product in half the time. This framework is called Scrum. It’s been successfully used in software development for almost two decades and some progressive companies, like Boeing, are using it to build physical products. We have the experience to teach you what Scrum is and show you how it works in product development.
We created a course to teach Scrum, and other Agile principles, to product development people. The explanations of the concepts are worded for product development, the examples are for product development, and the exercises have been developed with product development challenges. As an added benefit to you, you can earn a certification as a Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM) through an organization called the Scrum Alliance. Unlike other CSM classes, we don’t mention the word “software”, we don’t bring examples from a software background, and we don’t treat physical products as if it they are the same as software. Because they aren’t the same. Because hardware people don’t speak software language.
Your instructors, Hubert Smits and Peter Borsella, have extensive experience with Scrum. Together they have 20 years of delivering certified Scrum training. They have coached teams throughout the world, transforming organizations large and small to become agile. They have joined strengths and created Big Orange Square to bring Scrum to physical product development. Their motto? If you can kick it, you can Scrum it!
If you are engaged with a new product development team, you need to join us for our Certified Scrum Master (CSM) classes, designed specifically for product people!
Course Description: CSM for Product Development Xtreme

In this three-day class, you will learn an entirely different product development approach called Scrum. From defining what it is and how it works, you will also participate in exercises designed to help you experience how Scrum, and other agile practices, are applied to product development.
In the CSM for Product Development Xtreme course, you will apply an incremental, learn and adapt approach as you work on building a car: a real car, road-worthy with wheels, seats, and the works!

Who Should Attend
This class is geared towards in-company coaches and practitioners who are hands-on with product development teams and are interested in bringing the Scrum framework into product development. This class does not intend to bring software people to product development – our goal is to bring Scrum to product people. And product development is broad: whether you develop the next Sharpie pen, design and build houses, or work on the next generation of combine harvesters – it is all product development and Scrum will make a difference in bringing these products to market faster.
Earn Your CSM
Because we will be covering learning objectives that align with the Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM) program, those who are interested can also obtain their CSM status. This requires full attendance for the three days and successfully passing the required post-class test. In addition to your CSM, you will be given a two-year membership to the Scrum Alliance.
Earn PDUs
Additionally, PMPs can self-claim 24 PDUs or Contact Hours with the PMI, and 24 SEUs towards your Scrum Alliance certifications. These PDUs can also be applied towards your 21 Contact Hour requirement for your Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) status.
STUDENTS ARE BLOWN AWAY AFTER THE TRAINING.
